If you are too pushed to 'do time' in the Jail you are still very welcome to visit the Prison Shop and browse the large selection of goods.

Did You Know?
Many children were held here. Hector MacNeil was a schoolboy aged 13. He was found guilty of stealing a turnip from a field and served 30 days imprisonment! Margaret Cowan, aged 11, stole a pair of shoes and was sentenced to 40 days imprisonment followed by 3 years at reformatory school.
