Brilliant experience , we have been to the Jail approx. 4 times over the past 8 years that we have been visiting Scotland, Each and every time we enjoy the whole experience, very informative whilst being fun, well worth a visit - highly recommend.

Very authentic staff and so much to see. Everyone was just so helpful. Included court house, old and new jails and exhibits as well as life stories of the people who passed through the jail. Highly recommended.

On grandpawrents duties this weekend and we really enjoyed our visit to the jail, good insight to the legal/prison services of the past; the staff were also helpful and friendly and it’s definitely worth a visit.

I’ve done a few escape rooms (not a ton!) but the interactive aspects and learning a bit about crazy indebtedness and jailing was a lot of fun. Great staff, a lot of fun, very cool village 

Loved this place. The history and living culture, the jail guards who were so true to the cause. This place is well worth a visit and I will be back to do the escape room. Loved every minute of our visit. Not over priced, or pretentious 10/10 from us.
